Terms of service

1. What Workspotted is

Workspotted is an information service run by Tom Millson, a sole trader ("we"). We find public contract notices and selected planning schemes, filter them for your trade and area, and add an automated verdict. We aren't connected to any council or public body, and we don't bid on your behalf.

2. Verdicts are opinion, not advice

Verdicts are written automatically by AI, using rules we set, from the text of each notice. They can be wrong or incomplete. They're there to help you decide what to read, not to tell you whether to bid. Always read the full notice and tender documents before you decide. We don't guarantee that any contract is suitable for you, or that you'll win work.

3. Completeness

We aim to include every relevant notice, but we depend on public sources that can be late, wrong or unavailable, and our filters won't be perfect. Drive times are estimates.

4. Plans, trial and payment

5. Cancelling

You can cancel any time from your account settings. You'll keep member features until the end of the month you've paid for, then move to the free plan. We don't refund part-months, except where the law says we must.

6. Fair use

Your membership is for your business. Please don't resell, republish or share the alerts outside your firm, or scrape the service.

7. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren't liable for any loss of business, profit or opportunity, or any decision you make about bidding. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and we'll tell you by email before any change that affects you. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: hello@workspotted.co.uk.
